When Drinking Water Is Not the Answer for Dry Skin

“Kitna paani peete ho?”

“Achha, kam peete ho… isi liye hoga!”


Yeh conversation aapne bhi suna hoga — ya khud bola hoga.

Log samajhte hain “paani kam peene se skin dry hoti hai”. But here’s the truth:


Drinking water is important — par woh akele dry skin ka solution nahi hai.


Let’s break it down in simple and honest language, the way your skin understands.

Yes, paani peena zaroori hai.

Lekin agar aapki skin:

• Peeling kar rahi hai

• Flaky lagti hai

…toh sirf zyada paani peena se koi farak nahi padega.

5Use a humidifier or bowl of water near AC to balance room moisture
6If needed, use moisturising sunscreen in the day
7Visit a skin doctor if dryness doesn’t improve

• Don’t use body lotion on face

• Don’t skip moisturizer just because it’s summer

• Don’t think oily skin can’t be dry – oil and water are different things
