From First Blog to Asia Book of Records – My Journey
When I wrote my first dermatology blog, I didn’t think it would turn into anything big. I just wanted to share simple, useful skin advice for my patients — things I often repeat in the clinic. Little did I know, this small effort would grow into a journey I could have never imagined.
⸻
🔹 Step 1: Starting Small
My first blog was about a common skin concern — something every patient asks: “Should I use different face wash in morning and night?”
I kept the language simple, wrote it in a way I would explain it to a patient, and made it practical, not fancy. That was my starting point — no big plans, just the goal to educate and help.
⸻
🔹 Step 2: Finding My Voice
With every blog, I realized people connected more when I:
• Explained in simple words
• Shared real-life examples from the clinic
• Addressed myths that patients often believed
Soon, patients started telling me:
“Doctor, I read your blog on pillowcases and acne — it actually helped me!”
These moments motivated me to write more consistently.
⸻
🔹 Step 3: Scaling Up – Not Just Writing, But Creating Awareness
After a few months, I realized blogging wasn’t just about sharing tips — it was changing habits. People started:
• Stopping harmful home remedies
• Understanding proper sunscreen use
• Recognizing when to see a dermatologist
This was the turning point — I realized my words could make real impact beyond the clinic walls.
⸻
🔹 Step 4: Crossing Milestones
I set small goals: 50 blogs… 100 blogs… 200 blogs. Every milestone showed me that consistency matters more than perfection.
Before I knew it, I had completed 400+ blogs, reached patients across India, and then… the news came:
I was selected for the Asia Book of Records for maximum dermatology blogs!
It was surreal — something that started as a simple idea to educate my patients, became recognized at a continental level.
⸻
🔹 Step 5: Lessons Learned Along the Way
Writing 500+ blogs taught me more than dermatology facts. I learned:
1. Patients read differently online — clarity is everything.
2. Consistency beats big efforts — even a small blog every week adds up.
3. Trust is built before patients walk in — blogs became my first conversation with many.
4. Helping matters more than popularity — views and likes are nice, but if even one patient benefits, it’s worth it.
⸻
✅ Final Thoughts
From that first blog to Asia Book of Records, this journey has been humbling. It’s proof that small consistent efforts can create big impact.
For anyone starting today:
Don’t wait for perfect conditions. Don’t wait for the “right time.” Start with one blog, one tip, one small step. It might just take you farther than you ever imagined — like it did for me.
