 Can Eating Too Much Fruit Cause Acne?


Aam, seb, kela… sab healthy lagte hain. But kya zyada fruit khane se acne ho sakta hai?

Kai teenagers aur adults clinic me yahi poochte hain. Chaliye isko seedhe aur simple shabdo me samjhte hain.



Fruit healthy hai… par har cheez ki limit hoti hai


Fruit vitamins, fibre aur antioxidants ka acha source hai. Lekin kuch fruits me bahut zyada natural sugar hoti है — jise hum “fructose” kehte hain.


Agar aap ek din me 4–5 fruits ya bahut zyada fruit juice pi lete ho, to blood sugar tezi se badh sakti hai.

Aur jab sugar spikes hoti hai, tab body insulin release karti hai.


Insulin ka link acne se


Zyada insulin → skin ki oil glands zyada active → pores jaldi clog → pimples ka chance badh jata hai.


Ye effect un logon me zyada dikhai deta hai:

• jinki skin already oily ho

• jinko acne ka tendency ho

• jinke diet me already white bread, noodles, sweets jaise high-GI foods hote hain


Har fruit acne nahi badhata


Low-sugar fruits generally safe hote hain:

• papaya

• amrood

• kiwi

• watermelon (water content high hota hai)

• berries (agar available ho)


High-sugar fruits jinhe limit me khana chahiye:

• mango

• grapes

• banana

• chikoo

• litchi


Yeh acne cause nahi karte, but acne-prone skin me flare ko trigger kar sakte hain jab quantity zyada ho jaye.


Fruit juice vs whole fruit


Juice = fibre remove → sugar direct bloodstream me → acne risk zyada.

Whole fruit = fibre sugar ko slow karta hai → safe.


To phir kya karein?

• Roz 2 fruits ka rule follow karein.

• Juice ki jagah whole fruit.

• Evening me heavy sugary fruits avoid karein.

• Acne ho to breakfast me papaya or apple better rehta hai.

• Paani achhe se piyein.
